This item was a Christmas gift, sent by Amazon directly to my brother-in-law in Montana, so I haven’t actually seen it for real. My BIL is a custom home designer/fine finish carpenter so it seemed a bit odd to be sending him something like this, since he could make himself one that would be high quality and customized to his needs. But, as with the mechanic whose car doesn’t run, it’s one of those things he wouldn’t get around to building. I’m pleased, then, that the report from Montana is that it’s quite nice. Sure, it’s not ‘fine furniture’ or anything, but it’s well made for the price and does the job it’s designed for.

This unit is a good value for the money. We are pleased with it overall. The wood finish is nice, and it is sized to fit well on a shelf or bookcase. The fabric behind is not felt or velvet - it is a green smooth fabric.

For the price, this was a good product. Well made, packaged and delivered timely. However, I ordered two of the same item, shipped at the same time and when they arrived, they were two different colors. If that doesn’t bother you, than you are good to go. If it does, you may want to consider ordering from someone else. For the price, I didn’t bother sending them back, but you may try contacting the vendor.

Very satisfied with this. It arrived fast, there was no assembly required, I hung it up and have been using it to display golf balls and it looks really great in my office. Love it.
